This year will be my 27th year as a real estate professional, 25 years with RE/MAX Niagara Realty Ltd., in Niagara Falls. RE/MAX holds a strong market leadership with 39% of the market share in 2013.
I have listed and sold a great variety of homes throughout the Niagara Region, but mainly focus on single-family homes and condos in the medium to luxury price range. I sell approximately 45-55 properties per year, and when listing properties I focus on optimizing the home’s value and employ an aggressive multi-media marketing strategy. With professional expertise and experience, I sell homes for their highest value and they sell for an average of 98.3% of list price.
In 2014, I was awarded and recognized for 25 years of service at RE/MAX. For 2012 I was presented the Top Producer Award, Second Runner Up and the Platinum Award for high income level for the 10th year in a row. In 2011 I was presented the #1 Sales Representative Award, Top Producer for the fifth year in a row and in 2009 I was presented the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Vice President of RE/MAX Canada. In an office of over 50 agents, I have been one of the top three agents for the last twelve years in a row. Every year I have received performance awards, and as a Market Leader - experience, local market knowledge, and refined negotiating skills are imperative. Success is not measured by awards and recognition, but by the satisfaction and referrals of your clients, and for me, the satisfaction of moving over 1,000 families.
I choose to work differently than most REALTORS®. Instead of spending hours prospecting for new business, I focus my time, energy, and resources on my client's goals. By putting their interests first, they have become my greatest source of business and enthusiastically refer my services. I honour their trust and loyalty, and the source for the majority of my business comes from the endorsements of my clients; then I can focus on my client’s needs instead of prospecting for new business.
A lifelong commitment to self-education has enhanced my ability to use technology and innovative solutions in a changing marketplace to help both Buyers and Sellers. I attend several seminars each year throughout Canada and the United States to upgrade the skills and services to my clients.
Since 1999, I have been a member of an elite group of top REALTORS® throughout Southern Ontario, the STAR Group (Strategic Alliance of Realtors). This group of real estate professionals is dedicated to raise the bar in our industry. Not only do we have a refined referral network system, but share our ideas, processes, and expertise to serve our clients better.
In order to assist in ensuring that my clients needs are met, I employ a full-time Marketing Assistant for Client Care and Administration.
Also, it is so important to give back to the community in which we serve and I am pleased that my values and the values of RE/MAX align. Every home I sell, I donate a portion of my commission to Children’s Miracle Network (Sick Kid’s Hospital). I also support our local Project Share, Outreach Niagara, and in 2010 I was the Team Captain for our RE/MAX Corporate Team participating in the CIBC Run for the Cure for Breast Cancer.
